A Limber Love
You and the one you love are trapped in a cabin. You're out of food, low on firewood, and a winter storm has started outside. What do you do?
A LIMBER LOVE is a 19k illustrated narrative about transformation, self-determination, and love in an environment of supernatural horror.
Content note: The story takes place in a severely limiting environment. Themes include deprivation (including of food and warmth), compulsion, environmental desolation, transhumanist evolution, survival under extreme conditions, and spiders. We included narrative options for acceptance of, rejection of, and negotiation with this environment. Please play with caution.
This is also a story about love. Themes include facing the world together, never being as alone as you thought, and reaching for your love to always find them there—even if not always in the form you expected.

Its beautiful. I've made every choice, chosen every ending, and in the end Nic is always there. I've cried, and it really takes a lot for me to shed real tears. The whole story is full of so much comfort and love, from the two characters to the environment around them. It reminds me a lot of Annihilation or season 5 of The Magnus Archives, but the feeling it gives is so different from both. There's no horror or dread or fear in the transformation, just love, and the hope that the other will stay through it. And they do.
Thank you so much for this amazing comment. We're both big TMA fans and the writer between us has read Annihilation no fewer than four times, so you've clocked our influences incredibly well! To hear you've played it again and again and explored as much as possible—I think that outcome was unthinkable to us when we made it. Thank you so much again for letting us know you loved it. It's a huge boost to our day.
Masterpiece! 😠So sad yet beautiful...
I love this story so much. I've already played through it multiple times and I still can't stop thinking about it. The art, the prose, the ambiance—Everything about it is so beautiful and romantic and otherworldly. I hope to be able to support Copper Spines one day, until then, I'm excited to see what you both might be producing and releasing next! <3
This is so wonderful to hear, thank you! We're so glad you enjoyed the story and can't wait to share our next project with you!!
